1) При встрече со знакомыми обычно используют следующие приветственные формулы:

How are you? How's it going? How are things? (неформ.) — Как поживаете?,

How (are) you doing? (амер.) — Как дела?

2) В ответ обычно говорят:

Very well/Fine, (thank you) — Отлично, (спасибо)

Not too bad — Неплохо.

So-so — Так себе, (It) could be worse — Могло быть хуже.
